The Ultimate Guide to the Timbuk Tulip Festival in Granville, Ohio

Fields of coral tulips representing Ohio's best tulips

Our 2nd Annual Tulip Festival is coming up on April 16th to April 30th.  This is Ohio’s premier family-friendly event, and it’s a great way to help kids get back into nature after a long winter.

In fact, we have so many fun activities, food options, and live music events for families and kids that we’re providing you with the ultimate guide to our Tulip Festival so that you can make the most out of this spring event in Ohio. Some of our events are on specific days, and some of our activities are continuously available.

Tickets are available now for this Ohio festival, but they are limited!

U-Pick Tulip Fields

Timbuk Farms has over 500,000 tulips across four acres of land for you to explore and to pick your own tulips.  Create the perfect tulip bouquet that everyone in the family can contribute to.

Tulips are $1 per stem after the price of entry into the Tulip Festival.

Petting Goats

Kids can visit our goat pen to pet our friendly (and very patient) goats.  Kids love to pet animals, and who wouldn’t want to pet a goat?  Also, kids petting goats make for adorable family photos.

Bounce Pad

Our giant bounce pad will certainly put a spring in your step.  Bouncing is great for helping kids to get all of their wiggles out!  Plus, bouncing is just plain fun.

Bobsled Hill Slides

If your kids love slides, then they’re going to love this.  If you love slides, then you’re going to love this as well.  Remember, adults get to have fun at our Tulip Festival too.

Our bobsled hill is the ultimate slide in Ohio.  Hop on a sled and zip down our bobsled hill for a fun jolt of adrenaline (that isn’t too scary!).

Kids can run off their energy, make friends, and just be kids at our Timbuk Farms playground.

Family Photos

Our rolling hills of tulips make for the perfect background for family photos and engagement photos.  Make sure to check out our photography policy if you’re using a professional photographer.

Newly Opened Garden Center

Make sure to check out our newly opened garden center for spring flower specials and veggie plants.  We also have all of your spring gardening supplies, so stop by the garden center while you’re here for the Tulip Festival.

April 20th

Spanish Bowl Food Truck

This Puerto Rican-inspired food truck has some of the yummiest food in Ohio.  The Spanish Bowl Food Truck will offer chicken, pork, steak, and vegan rice bowls.  These bowls make for the perfect festival food for families who don’t want to deal with a lot of dishes when they’re out and about.  Their slow-roasted pork is a must try!

Straw and the Scarecrow, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. EST

Prepared to be mesmerized by this duo’s rich harmonies.  They are self-described as “indie folk & rock turns with a lemon-lime twist.”

April 27th

Empanadas and More

We’ll have Empanadas and More’s food truck with their mouth-watering empanadas.  They focus on Puerto Rican flavors, and they will have chicken, beef, chorizo, and vegetarian options available.  We suggest that you try their yummy plantains.

Nat Reeb, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. EST

Local Ohio musician Nat Reeb brings the best of all worlds with wholesome music that the whole family can dance to.  Think songwriter, mixed with soulful country, and you’ve got Nat Reeb.  Make sure your kids have their dancing shoes with them!

Shining Star Faces

What’s a festival without face painting?  Your kids can be painted to be lions, tigers, or bears. Oh, my! Shining Star Faces will be joining us for this one day to provide face painting to our guests.
